Vivek Raisurana is a Commerce Graduate from the prestigious St. Xaviers College, Ranchi. A meritorious student, he was very active in extra curriculum activities like debate/ elocution, team sports etc. At a very young age he set up his own business as an automobile Dealer for Yezdi Motorcycles and allied products in 1975.
To get the dealership of two wheelers in those days was a heroic task, but with his skill as a salesman he managed to convince the Board of Ideal Jawa India Pvt Ltd, and got the Dealership of Yezdi Motorcycles for Ranchi, Hazaribagh and Palamu District (Bihar), which made him the one of the best sellers in India. His foresight, vision and power of speech enlightened him to grow his business which eventually gave him the confidence to be a Motivational Trainer too.
Vivek joined Junior Chamber International at a young age, and became the President in 1981, and the State President of Junior Chamber International Bihar in 1988. Vivek graduated as the National Trainer of Junior Chamber International India in 1987, and in 1989 he was awarded with the degree of International Graduate (Trot Trainer) by Jaycees International. Later he joined Lions International and became the Charter President of Lions Club of Ashok Nagar in 1995. As one of the most popular and much sought after Trainers, Vivek has conducted Individual Development Courses/ Workshops in different cities in India.
Being Individual Development the prime objective and the focus subject, Vivek started training the youth of India through Schools/ Colleges/ NGOs/ Clubs/ CA Institute/ etc. The subjects he specialises in are Leadership in Action/ Human Relation/ Effective Public Speaking/ Effective Decision Making/ Time Management/ etc.
Vivek then developed a new course on Interview Skills, the need of the hour. He is a regular Trainer at Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ranchi, for their GMCS classes, where he trains the young Chartered Accountants on Soft Skills like Goal Setting/ Effective Public Speaking/ Team Building/ Leadership/ etc. His biggest achievement was when he was invited by the Nepal Jaycees for a 3 day Workshop on Leadership.
He has conceived and designed a Workshop – Leadership 21st Century, a programme on Leadership Skill development of School Students. Through this he inculcates and reinvents the positive attitude among the students, and prepares them to face the world.
Setting “A better individual makes a better community and a better community makes a better country” as his motto and aim, Vivek did deeper research in the field of soft skill training and developed many Audio-Visual programmes which successfully gave a new dimension to the Training programmes he conducted.
