Sanjay  has a work experience of over  35 years  in the  corporate sector  in the Paints, Consumer Durables, Financial Services,  Real  Estate, & Training Industries with a broad exposure to Marketing &  Sales, Advertising & Corporate Communications,  Project Management, Production & Manufacturing,  Human  Resources  Development, Business Development , Profit Centre Management, Leadership, People Management, Client Relationship Management, Strategy & Planning, Training, Legal, Coaching and Mentoring.

Organizations worked for include Kansai Nerolac Paints, IFB-BOSCH Appliances, 20th Century Finance , TATA Housing, & Dale Carnegie Training India. Of this, he has worked for over 20 years with the TATA Group alone.

Sanjay started his career in 1980 with Nerolac Paints. During the course of 9 years there he was exposed to all aspects of  bazar and institutional sales, including branch management and running sales teams. When he left he was responsible for Institutional Sales for the Northern & Eastern regions comprising over 100 accounts.

At IFB – BOSCH, as Regional Manager, Sanjay was responsible for setting up operations for the entire Western region from scratch. This involved setting up the offices, dealer network, service centres, C&F Agents, recruitment and training of sales & service personnel, & handling advertising and communication for 4 States, as an independent Profit – Centre. When he left after 5 years , he had been promoted to Marketing Manager at the Head Office, where he was looking after the advertising, promotion & activation on All-India basis.

Post IFB, Sanjay worked for 20th Century Finance as Vice-President, Consumer Finance. This involved looking after the hire – purchase and leasing business for cars, ,trucks, and consumer durables for the Company. Here , Sanjay got a broad overview of the retail finance business.

Thereafter, Sanjay worked for Tata Housing for almost 13 years, initially looking after Sales & Marketing for  the residential, commercial, and retail projects of the Company. Thereafter, during the course of his tenure, he was given additional responsibility for handling the Corporate Communications, Business Development, Legal, & HR functions for the Company. He also held concurrent responsibility for running the South India operations of the Company as an independent Profit Centre , which involved all aspects of Project Management & Planning & Execution.

In the recent past, Sanjay has worked with Dale Carnegie Training India , where he was responsible for customizing and delivering training solutions for corporate clients based on developmental needs across India. The focus of the training delivery  was on performance enhancement resulting in significant and tangible business relevance and results, and therefore ROI for the clients. Sanjay  has  during  the  course  of  his 3-year career with Dale Carnegie, conducted   over 250 programs  with over 50 different Indian and Multinational organizations  and delivered customized training solutions to different departments and functions.

Sanjay has worked closely with  these organizations in providing customized  solutions to a wide  range of Indian and Multinational clients  ranging     from: Banking/Financial Services, Automobile, Engineering, Petroleum, FMCG  , Pharmaceuticals, Shipping, IT/Telecom, Electronics, Media, Government, and Consumer Durables amongst others, across India.

Sanjay has successfully qualified Dale Carnegie & Associates, USA  global certification and product endorsement process – accredited to ISO 9001-2008 standards.

Sanjay’s Core Competencies in training include a high level of Communication & Delivery Management skills  and  ability to quickly adapt to a wide range of organizational profiles in terms of business needs, hierarchies and seniority, demographic profiles across different States, and work with people  ranging in years from very junior to seniormost  level employees.
