A former banker with 25 years’ experience in both public and private sector banks, Reena Saxena now indulges in her passion for writing and disseminating knowledge on banking and personal finance.
The corporate career spans from Branch Banking to HR and running national channels to procure business from Financial and Government Institutions. Organisations worked for are Central Bank of India, Centurion Bank, Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Co and IndusInd Bank.
Reena is B.Sc, D.B.M. M.M.S.(Finance ) CAIIB (I). She is certified by National Accreditation Board for Education & Training (NABET) for training, by Scottish Qualifications Academy for Soft Skills and by TechTotal for Instructional Design-2000+ freshers working in BPOs and NBFCs, to help them clear certification exams held by Indian Institute of Banking and Finance, Sales personnel in insurance, Sales executives in banking
Other training programs held are Business Plan workshops for international students of ThinkGlobal School, Emotional Intelligence for healthcare employees, Platform Skills for Skill Development Trainers, and Micro-blogging to be a thought leader.
A coaching certification from GrowMoreCoach, financial coaching certification from Holistic Coaching, USA, NLP Master Practitioner Certification by Midas Touch and Image Consultancy from ICBI extend the repertoire. She holds certifications in Technical Writing and Digital Marketing help her manage the business better.
She is a mentor for women on a career break on JobsForHer, a Girl Icon Mentor for Milaan Foundation, volunteer business coach for change makers running NGOs on Head-Held-High Foundation, and a volunteer Crisis Coach on the Coacharya platform. Also worked with Sheroes to interview, onboard and guide women wanting to restart their career.
MoneyGoalz is her financial awareness initiative. Blogs, e-books, e-learning modules, and live trainings are used as a medium to engage with youngsters who need a perspective on financial planning. Financial literacy programs for freelancers, freshers, kids and teenagers are held regularly. MoneyGoalz also has a panel of experts to help people in financial planning.
She is passionate about writing has published works on Amazon are Basic Banking for Debt Recovery Agents, other than works in poetry and fiction.
She has also published ebooks on MoneyGoalz are Decoding Spending Habits, 7 Money Lessons from the Pandemic, Future of Your Money, and a book summary of the famous work “Psychology of Money”. She writes content for online and offline training modules for startups and NBFCs.

She runs large communities for financial planning on Quora and Facebook, and a small LeanIn circle called Fiery Females. She is a Quora Top Writer 2018. A regular writer on Medium and WordPress, other than doing guest blogs on 15 other platforms.
Feminism fires her and she runs an international initiative called Fiery Females to help women wherever they feel stuck. Being a regular participant in Empathy Circles run by the Empathy University helps her connect with women and coach them better.
She is on a mission to make at least a million people financially literate. The long-term ambition is to be a full-time writer and artist with a studio of her own.
