Prof. I B Mahapatra is a passionate trainer / teacher / HR professional with an Engineering and Defence service background. He worked as a Senior Faculty member in an AICTE affiliated MBA College. He taught HR, OB and Law to MBA, MCA and PGDIRPM students of Sambalpur University, BPUT, IGNOU and ICFAI academy. He has presented papers at many national and international seminars. He worked in the Indian Air Force as an electronics engineer who specialized in radar and missile equipment.
With more than two decades of experience in various fields, Mahapatra is currently focusing on corporate training and has been for the past 7 years. He comes with a rich experience of handling end to end trainings in the area of HR / Soft Skills / Business Communication. Some of the organizations where he served as a trainer are Tata Power, Ortel Communication, India Post Industries Dept and Watershed Management Department of Govt of Odisha, Kusuma Foundation (UK), NABARD, JSPL (Angul) and various UGC affiliated colleges.
I B Mahapatra is an empanelled trainer of UN Women program, where he trains elected women representatives on leadership. He is also a SEBI certified trainer on financial education. In Air Force he worked as a Senior Non-Commissioned Officer. He was leading a team of engineers in maintaining combat readiness of a weapon system and associated with crews for military operations. His focus areas are Communication and Interpersonal skills with a personal confidence and positive attitude.
He is passionate about training and his Areas of Expertise are Team Building, Interpersonal Skills, Managerial Effectiveness, Leadership Skills, Business Communications, Corporate Etiquette, Customer Service Orientation, Customer Satisfaction, Interpersonal Skills, Team Building and Out Bound Learning.
