Deepali has a work experience of over 17 years across various industries which include Fashion Exports, Fashion Retail, Mental Health & Training and Development. She has trained more than 800 associates at Entry/ Middle/ Senior management levels. She has been associated with Mindskillz since 12+ years as a senior faculty.
From the year 1998, Deepali started her career with Silk Appeal as a Merchandiser (2 years) and later moved to various other export houses, Sanghvi Exports (1 year), Eastern Overseas (3 years) and re-joined Silk Appeal (3 years). Her Fashion Export experience allowed her to travel globally and interact and work with buyers and designers at international level. In 2007 she migrated to UAE and joined Lifestyle, Landmark Retail, Dubai as Fashion Accessories Buyer.
During her tenure in exports, she was majorly involved in Designing, Procurement of fabrics. Participating trade fairs at both national and international level, Team handling, Merchandising, Key Customer Accounts and while working for Retail, she was involved in Analysis of sales, preparing season wise Buying Plan, Buying and Purchasing of Fashion Accessories, Market Research, merchandising for stores, Territory visits to all Gulf Lifestyle stores, Training floor staff on product knowledge. She has travelled to Hong Kong, UK, France, China, Bahrain, Kuwait, Doha, Oman, Jordan, and other places for buying and market study.
Being satisfied with her achievement in Fashion Exports and Retail Industry, Deepali’s search for human behavior and development led her to pursue her studies in Psychology and Human behavior.
Deepali has successfully undergone her master’s in psychology and has specialized in Counselling from IGNOU, New Delhi and is also certified on Mind Mapping, Albert Ellis model of Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, Robert Carkhuff model of Personal Counselling, Carl Jung model of Metaphor Therapy, Transactional Analysis, Applied Psychology, Integrated Clinical Hypnotherapy, and Yoga.
She is an Arts graduate from Mithibai College, Mumbai University, with a Diploma in Fashion Technology from IITC, Mumbai and a Diploma in Business Management from Wellingkar’ s Institute of Business Management.
Integrating her knowledge of Psychology and Human behavior with her wide experience of MNC and Exports, she comes across as a fine trainer. Deepali has been primarily responsible for providing customized end-to-end soft skills training and development solutions through interactive and experiential learning workshops. She has a deep sense of research orientation which helps in developing content and need / gap analysis. Created design documents, developed content, and delivered the modules. She was involved in creating audio – visual training tools for clients.
