Cavita Mehra is the Principal founder and Managing Director of Mindskillz and has over 18 years of work of experience in Soft Skills behavior training. She is a graduate with English Honors and Psychology, Diploma in Mass Communications and Fashion designing and has also been associated as the Division Manager with Bharti Resources as well as Hero Mindmine in conducting senior management behavioral and sales programs. She has been actively involved with several projects involving creating performance solutions based on an in-depth understanding of a client’s business environment across various industry segments , such as IT, ITES, BPO, PSU’s and MNC’s.
‘Mindskillz’ has been a dream turned into reality for her. Mindskillz, in a span of 20 months has serviced 32 clients across 20 cities in the country by offering cost effective and qualitative solutions. Some of the clients include The Cradle hospitals, HP, Logica, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Titan Industries (Tanishq, World of Titan, Helios, and Titan Eye Plus), Wipro, ZTE, Biocon, Capita Malls, WEP Peripherals, Goodrich, and Vodafone amongst many others. In the quest to forge international standards, Mindskillz has now formed an alliance with Innotiimi Oy, a Finnish company that has a presence through Europe.
Mindskillz has also made its foray in children education with a highly focused, interactive and structured program – “The EDGE, Evolve Grow Develop Everyday”. This program stems from the thought of imparting values and life skills for the child’s development in terms of being self reliant, responsible and mature individuals.
Cavita has been the guest speaker for the Sales CEO’s conference at Neovette Technologies and Work life balance Conference hosted by Logica for International Women’s Day. She is also a partner member for the WILL Forum. The WILL Forum for Women in Leadership is a unique and deeply committed mandate that brings together senior women executives in leadership positions from across corporate India for an open dialogue on their aspirations, opportunities, nurturing mind-sets, mentoring and harnessing the rewards of collective thinking for improving the workplace in the coming years. Cavita, despite her hectic schedule finds time to catch up on her other interests. She is an avid reader and believes in constantly building her knowledge bank. She also finds immense serenity in yoga and meditation. Her keen interest in sports especially Golf has helped her enhance her personal and professional network keeping her in touch with the business world.
The International Women’s Forum in recognition of the passion to drive difference and excellence felicitated her with “The Entrepreneur of the Year” award. The name was chosen from a list of over 100 nominations received for each category.
In her capacity as a Managing Director for Mindskillz, Cavita never fails to inspire the younger trainers and the teams she works with. She is a role model for young entrepreneurs who have followed her with keen learning eyes on her journey to become a successful business woman.
Her biggest contentment is from her dedication and selfless interest to work for the community and support the progress of women and the under privileged girl child. As part of this selfless cause she plays a key role in Art Mantram foundation which is an NGO that supports the “girl child project”, helping handicapped children and women through fund raising through promotion of art. With a continued will to work to the betterment of society Cavita has volunteered for the Civil Defence Citizen’s Army as Divisional Warden.
She has attended conferences by training gurus like Tony Buzan, Ron Kaufman and many others keeping her aware of the latest trends in learning and development. DISC certified and Level II in Reiki.
