Akshaya has a work experience of over three years across the fields of training, development and communication. She has trained over 200 participants at Entry and Middle management levels.
Akshaya started her career as a correspondent for a leading English daily and has moved into communication training for students and teachers. She has worked with schools across Karnataka in the capacity of a communication specialist for teachers and students. Having a strong communication background as a graduate of Journalism and Mass communication with a minor in Psychology, Akshaya has a keen understanding of trainee – trainer dynamics, giving her an edge above others.
Akshaya has been involved in projects with AIESEC, where she started her training career with colleges in Manipal University, she has since moved into corporate communication with clients spanning, The brigade group, Causeway, Prowareness, Lifestyle, to name a few.
She has been involved in Campus to corporate workshops, communication workshops for sales and front line staff, soft skills for middle level management and team building for corporate clients.
She has also been involved in designing modules specific to client’s needs and providing communication solutions for teachers and other corporate clients. She has a great love of extempore speaking and theatre and derives upon those influences to deliver interesting educational workshops.
