Sudha has a work experience of over 24 years out of which she worked with majorly two corporate companies for 16 years until May 2013. Later, she changed her profession to what she was passionate about and is now a CELTA certified English Language and Soft Skills Trainer for 8 years.
She has imparted trainings in various corporate companies, especially Information Technology Sector and has trained employees on Business Communication across levels.
Apart from above, she has also conducted Soft Skills training in various organizations – outbound, in-house trainings across levels.
In her latest stint with corporate world, she worked as a Communication Coach with e-infochips, training the Engineers on Business Communication. She received a ‘Pat on the Back’ award for her exemplary performance.
In addition, She is a Life Skills, Employability Skills as well as Functional English Skills Trainer working for Government of Gujarat’s initiative – Finishing School program. She has empowered around 3000 last-year graduating students in both TECHNICAL and HIGHER SECONDARY division since March 2017. She also co-authored “Student’s manual” and “Trainer’s Manual” of Finishing School project as a part of the Core Content Team.
Moreover, she is a SCOPE TRAINER(Society for Creation of Opportunity through Proficiency in English) an initiative by the education department, Government of Gujarat. Here, she provides training on English language Skills to adult learners.
She has worked as an Access teacher for four years since 2014 with Pratham – an NGO for its Micro-scholarship Access Program sponsored by the US Embassy.
She is a teacher trainer working on teacher’s development program in schools. She is also associated with MacMillan publications as a resource person visiting different schools across India to conduct teacher training.
Besides, she is a Cambridge Speaking Examiner assessing speaking skills of various examinations like KET, PET, FCE, CAE, and Business English conducted by Cambridge.
Sudha graduated from Mumbai University with Bachelors of Science in Microbiology and completed Masters in Business Administration in Human Resources from IGNOU. She is also CELTA certified English language trainer from British Council awarded by Cambridge English. She is a certified Business English Communication Trainer. She has also attended the Master-class workshop for IELTS trainers from British Council, Mumbai. Besides, she has cleared three modules of “The Teaching Knowledge Test or TKT with Band 3 out of 4, certified by Cambridge English, which focuses on core teaching concepts for EFL teachers.
