Anil has a banking experience of 33 years across various departments of Bank, which include International Banking, Merchant Banking Division & Human Resource Development Institute. As faculty since 2008 Anil has taken a total of more than 6000 (six thousand) hours of sessions on International Banking, Capital Market, Risk Management areas and also in soft skill areas like Work Life Balance through Financial Planning.
Anil started his banking career at the age of 21 with Canara Bank and in 1984. He shifted to Oriental Bank of Commerce a few years later. In October 2015, Anil took VRS six years before superannuation date, and is now associated with Mindskillz as a faculty.
In total, 33 years with banking industry the Bank for working in International Banking Department at Nehru Place in 1992 specifically picked up Anil. Later on in 2004, Anil moved to Merchant Banking Division at Corporate Office of the Bank in Connaught Place, New Delhi.
At Merchant Banking Division Anil got experience in various Investment related area like Handling of Public issues, Preparation of RHP, Listing, Road Shows etc. During his tenor at MBD, he implemented Depository services, Mutual Fund Distribution Business, Online Share Trading Platform, Bonds issuance (tier I& II), Organizing AGMs etc. During this period, the Global Trust Bank was being merged and he obtained a good amount of experience as a merger.
Anil cleverly channeled his knowledge into delivery and on his request; he was shifted to Training College at Noida in 2008. Anil accepted promotion up to Senior Manager only as was strategically required to be in training area only and managed his stay seven years at College In 2015 Anil submitted his resignation to work as a freelance trainer only.
Anil is a Certified Bank Trainer from NIBM Pune & IIBF Mumbai and a Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers. He is also Certified Trainer by COD Hyderabad and attended a Train the Trainer program by IFC (World Bank arm). Anil is also selected by SEBI as a RP for NCR area. While in Forex Dept., he also went through ‘Bourse Training’
Anil’s core strength is his practical experience in Investment &International Banking Anil, while working as a faculty in the Bank, was very much in demand outside for his sessions on International Business, Risk Management, and Capital Market area. Anil is also taking sessions on Marketing, Entrepreneurship area. Non-conventional sources of funding like ‘Start up Financing PE, VC, ANGEL funding are other areas where he takes sessions. Last month two workshops were conducted at Andheri(Mumbai) where his lecture was well appreciated.

Anil writes a lot and his various articles on Banking & Financial, and most of them have been published. He also writes poetry, and one of his poems has been published. He has also contributed to various anthologies; his satires are also regularly published in National Newspaper, one in NBT recently. He is also very active on social media for continuous connection with his participants. The Press also covers his programs whenever they happen for GOI.
