Sumitava has work experience of over 20 years across various industries which includes IT Product & Services, Hospitality, and ITES.
He has worked as Head of Human Resource, HRBP in Bangalore & Hyderabad, for Rimini Stree India. Apart from that he has worked in companies like Oracle, Accenture, Sify & others.
Sumitava has led over 500+ workshops, conceptualized, designed & delivered programs in India, and abroad, covering employees & clients across levels.
In his last stint with corporate world he was heading the Human Resource vertical of Rimini Street India. He was instrumental in setting up the department. He worked on to build a learning culture within companies in close collaboration with CPO’s & Business Heads.
He designed & developed a complete Leadership Journey to train & nurture 10+ future leaders in the company. The growing business & requirement to collaborate better with the clients demanded his to facilitate consulting assignments in US, UK, Europe & APAC for Project Kick-offs & Implementation projects.
He has led Rimini Street’s Managerial Development Programs & anchored multiple in-person / virtual trainings for diverse topics. In his 4 years stint with Rimini Street, he also headed the Talent Acquisition & Development unit & was involved in diverse HR projects too.
Currently, as a Sr. Consultant and Coach for 4 years he has led Leadership development program for IT companies, Manufacturing and Finance companies. His clientele includes Fortune 100 MNC’s, MNC Banks, Navaratna & Maharatna Companies of GOI, etc.
He specializes in offering blended learning programs which can be customized as short-byte as well as long term- based sessions with coaching & application based learning. Sumitava firmly believe in Business oriented, Enquiry based, Reflective, Café-Style facilitation. He is an expert in In-person & Virtual training delivery modes.
Sumitava has a Master’s in Business Administration and certification in HRBP from XLRI, Jamshedpur. He is also internationally certified by Customer Service Institute of Australia as a Facilitator for Certification courses and a Dale Carnegie certification for Customer Service and Sales.
He is currently a senior consulting faculty with Mindskillz adding value to the organization with his multiple certifications.
